1.         HOW TO ENTER: No purchase, and no entry fee, payment or proof-of-purchase necessary to participate in Sweepstakes.  Sweepstakes starts December 26, 2007 at 12:01 a.m. CST and ends January 25, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. CST (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

        

         THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ENTER:

(A) TO ENTER ONLINE: Log on to www.dollargeneral-roommakeover.com (“Web Site”) during the Sweepstakes Period. Online entries must be received and recorded no later than 11:59:59 PM CST on January 25, 2008 to be eligible to win.

The name of the person submitting an e-mail address upon registration must be the name of the authorized account holder of such e-mail address, otherwise entry may be deemed void.  In the event of dispute over the identity of a potential winner, online entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address on record for the entrant, and a potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address tied to the potentially winning entry. All entries become the property of Kimberly-Clark Global Sales (“Sponsor”) and will not be returned to entrant.  Every online entry submission must be manually keystroked and manually entered by the individual entrant; automated and/or repetitive electronic submission of entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, macro, bot or sweepstakes service) will be disqualified and transmissions from these or related e-mail or IP addresses may be blocked. 
(B) TO ENTER BY MAIL: Hand print your name, address, daytime and evening telephone numbers and date of birth on an Official Entry Form or a 3” x 5” card.  Mail your entry in a first class stamped envelope postmarked by January 25, 2008 to:  Kimberly-Clark / Dollar General “Room Makeover” Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 8514, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. Mass entries and partially completed and/or mechanically reproduced entries or rubber-stamped entries will be void and ineligible. Sponsor is not responsible for illegible, late, lost, mutilated, misdirected, postage due or stolen entries.

Limit one (1) entry per name/e-mail address, regardless of the method of entry, throughout the Sweepstakes Period.

2. PRIZES:  Five (5) Grand Prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a check in the amount of $10,000. Actual value per Grand Prize: $10,000.  One Thousand (1,000) First Prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a $25 Dollar General Gift Card redeemable at any Dollar General retail store location. Actual retail value per First Prize: $25. Total value for all prizes: $75,000.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.  Limit one prize per name, address and household.  Allow 10-12 weeks for delivery of prize. All other incidental expenses for each prize not specified in these Official Rules, are the responsibility of the winner. Sponsor not responsible for winner limitations that prevent acceptance or use of any prize.

3. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about January 28, 2008 by an independent judging organization whose decisions shall be final.  Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.  All prizes will be awarded. Potential prize winners will be notified by regular mail at the address indicated on the Official Entry Form on or about February 4, 2008. Any prize notification that is undeliverable or any prize that has not been accepted within fourteen (14) days of attempted notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.  Each potential Grand Prize winner will be required to sign, notarize, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, and a Prize and Publicity Release (where legal). The Affidavit of Eligibility, and Prize and Publicity Release must be returned within fourteen (14) days of notification or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. By signing the Affidavit of Eligibility, and a Prize and Publicity Release, each Grand Prize winner agrees to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Dollar General Corporation, Kimberly-Clark Global Sales, Inc., and all of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotional or judging agencies, as well as their respective officers, employees, directors, shareholders, representatives and agents, from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses of any kind to persons or property, including, but not limited to, liability for personal injury or property damage, which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity. Where legal, signing the Affidavit of Eligibility, and a Prize and Publicity constitutes permission to use a winner’s name and likenesses for advertising, trade, or publicity purposes without their approval or further compensation.  Information provided by entrants will not be rented, sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any third party. The information will be used solely for the purpose of this promotion. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses within the United States.

4. ELIGIBILITY: YOU MUST BE A LEGAL U.S. RESIDENT RESIDING IN THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA THROUGHOUT THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD AND 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF DECEMBER 26, 2007 TO BE ELIGIBLE.  Potential winners may be required to provide proof of legal U.S. residency if requested by Sponsor to determine eligibility and as a condition of prize award. Employees of Dollar General Corporation, its retail locations, Kimberly-Clark Global Sales, Inc., all members of their respective immediate families and households, their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies advertising and promotional agencies and anyone else involved in the production, development or handling of this Sweepstakes (collectively, "Sponsor and Promotion Parties”) are not eligible to win.

5. GENERAL: The State of Wisconsin in the United States shall have jurisdiction over this Sweepstakes. Prizes will be awarded and/or delivered only to addresses within the United States. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Except as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, no substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted, and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value (unless at the sole discretion of Sponsor). Mail received without a verifiable and legible return address may not be accepted at Sponsor's sole discretion.  Prize winner(s) will be solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes.  Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the actual value of the prize.  All other expenses on the receipt and use of the prize not specifically mentioned herein are solely the responsibility of the winner.  Any portion of a prize not accepted by winner will be forfeited. No groups, clubs, or organizations may reproduce or distribute any portion of these Official Rules to its members.  All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and of the judges, which shall be final and binding.  Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

CONDUCT: By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges that shall be final and binding in all respects.  The Official Rules will be posted on the Web Site throughout the Sweepstakes Period.  Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification.  Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the Web Site; or to be acting in any manner deemed by Sponsor to be in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in any manner deemed by Sponsor to be unsportsmanlike or disruptive, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.  CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A USER OR ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:  Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Sweepstakes; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Sweepstakes; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet or the Web Site or any combination thereof; (e) any injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes or download of any materials in the Sweepstakes.  If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All entrants, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes, agree to release Sponsor and Promotion Parties from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with accessing the Web Site, submitting an entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership, use or misuse of any prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in or traveling to or from any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of offering of any prize. The winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to their prize after it has been delivered.  Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, safety, or performance of any prize.
